CPU Scrap Supplier for Buyers in Canada
Canadian refiners and recyclers can enquire for CPU scrap in bulk. We supply from the UK and from our US branch, quoted individually after a buyer, route and import-rule review.
What we supply to Canadian buyers
Four grades, sold by weight and described by form, inclusions and exclusions:
- Ceramic CPU scrap (whole ceramic-package processors)
- Gold-plated CPU pins (loose, separated from processors)
- Fiber CPU scrap (fiberglass-substrate processors)
- Mixed CPU scrap (blended lots, described per lot)
Canadian import rules
Canada regulates the cross-border movement of hazardous waste and hazardous recyclable material under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999. Whether an import needs notification or a permit depends on how the material is classified and on provincial requirements at the receiving site.
We ask Canadian buyers for the permits that cover their facility and review the classification of each lot before a quotation is approved.
Shipping to Canada
Material from our US branch can move overland by road or rail, subject to customs clearance by a broker. Material from the UK normally moves by sea. Commercial invoice, packing list, transport document and any import permit are prepared for each shipment, and quotations state Incoterms® 2020 with a named place.
How to start an enquiry from Canada
Send a quote request with the grade, approximate quantity and your destination. We review the buyer and the route first, then prepare a numbered quotation (PDF) with Incoterms® 2020 delivery terms and a validity date. Submitting a request is not an order and does not approve any shipment.
Frequently asked questions
Can Canadian buyers purchase CPU scrap from Scrap Cove?
Yes, as enquiries. Each request is reviewed for the buyer, the receiving facility and the import rules before a quotation is approved.
Which branch would supply a Canadian order?
That depends on the lot and the route. The quotation states where the material ships from and on what terms.
Do I need an import permit?
Possibly, depending on classification. We ask for the permits that apply to your site and do not assume one is or is not needed.
