Who these terms are with

This website is operated by Martin Wanye, trading as Scrap Cove, Onich, Fort William, Highland, PH33 6SE, United Kingdom. By using it you agree to these terms.

No offer by request

Submitting a quote request is not an order. A quotation binds neither party until it has been approved, sent and accepted on its stated terms. Each quotation states its price per kilogram, currency, delivery terms (Incoterms® 2020 with a named place) and the date until which it is valid.

Review and approval

All quotations and shipments are subject to buyer verification and compliance review. We may decline or withdraw any request, and we may require documents, permits or licences before a quotation is approved or material is shipped.

International sales

Export, import and transit rules differ by country. We do not treat any destination as automatically eligible, and a shipment proceeds only when the required approvals and documents are in place. You are responsible for the licences and permits needed to receive the material in your country.

Sanctions and export controls

We do not deal with persons, entities or destinations that are subject to applicable sanctions or trade restrictions, and we may decline or withdraw any request on that basis.

Information on this site

Descriptions of grades, specifications and data sheets are general. Values for a specific lot are confirmed in a quotation. Images are illustrative where they are captioned as such and are not photographs of current stock.

Using the site

Please do not misuse the site, try to access staff areas, or submit false or misleading information. We may block access to protect the site.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for loss arising from your reliance on general information on this site rather than on a quotation.

Governing law

A sale is governed by the law stated in the quotation. For use of this website, the law of the part of the United Kingdom where the operator is based applies, and the courts there have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer or business rules in your country say otherwise.
