What we supply to US buyers
Four grades, sold by weight and described by form, inclusions and exclusions:
- Ceramic CPU scrap (whole ceramic-package processors)
- Gold-plated CPU pins (loose, separated from processors)
- Fiber CPU scrap (fiberglass-substrate processors)
- Mixed CPU scrap (blended lots, described per lot)
US rules we take into account
Electronic scrap in the United States is subject to federal rules (including the EPA's hazardous-waste framework under RCRA) and to state requirements that differ from one state to the next. Whether a lot is treated as a regulated waste or as a recyclable commodity depends on its content, its destination and what the buyer does with it.
We therefore review each buyer's facility and the intended use before a quotation is prepared, and we ask for the permits or identification numbers that apply to your site.
Moving material in the US
Domestic loads usually travel by road or rail, packed by weight in sealed drums or cartons. The quotation states the packaging, the Incoterms® 2020 delivery terms and the named place. Freight is shown only where an estimate is available.
