A PDF quotation with Incoterms® 2020 terms, currency and validity date, sent only after internal approval.
Shipment, where approved
Shipping documents are prepared with the carrier for each shipment, and only once the required approvals are in place.
Terms, currency and documents
Incoterms® 2020
Every quotation states its delivery terms with a named place, for example FOB, CIF or DAP, so both sides know where costs and risk pass.
Currency
Quotations can be issued in US dollars, pounds sterling or euros, per kilogram, with the currency stated on the document.
Shipping documents
Commercial invoice, packing list and the transport document are prepared with the carrier for each shipment, together with any waste-shipment notification, permit or licence that the classification and destination require.
Compliance comes first
Electronic scrap is regulated differently in every country, and some destinations restrict or prohibit imports altogether. International agreements such as the Basel Convention and regional rules apply on top of national law.
